All the way from Trondheim, Nagirčalmmiid delivered an electrifying performance at Blitz’s 43rd birthday celebration in Oslo. The energy was contagious — the crowd was fully engaged, dancing, moving, and clearly feeding off the band’s raw power. On stage, the band seemed to have just as much fun as the audience, bringing an intense and joyful presence that filled the room.
Their sound — a striking blend of Doomdeath/Core with post-metal elements — created a dense, emotional atmosphere that was both heavy and deeply moving. Nagirčalmmiid manages to weave cultural Sámi expression with crushing riffs and haunting textures in a way that feels both urgent and immersive.
As always, Blitz impressed with its strong sound, welcoming atmosphere, and wonderfully diverse crowd. It’s one of those venues that truly feels open to everyone, and it’s always a pleasure to come back.
On a technical note, I’m really satisfied with how my video setup performed. Working with both the Nikon Z6 and Z6II gave me the flexibility I needed to capture the night from multiple angles and moods — definitely a combo I’ll stick with for future shows.
