Since a few days winter reached Southern Norway and cities are covered in snow, again. A time I used to finalize my very last video project from October 2024.
It was my first trip from Oslo to Trondheim, followed up by a visit at Trångia in Sweden and their museum as well as factory. It was such a golden autumn experience, with a lot of silence, cold lakes and a super immersive waterfall. In addition, I met Old Tjikko, the world oldest tree with around 9000 years of age. It’s just a tree – but to me it was very dear and special seeing this impressive plant. It’s kind of surreal that things like this still exist – and growing.
Also, I was lucky enough to find the very last Hydnum repandum, a mushroom with little spikes underneath its umbrella. Super tasty, easy to find and very durable even until October or early winter.
Sweden and Norway feel quite different, at least from a very subjectiv standpoint of view. I enjoy crossing borders since the countries share a close borderline to where I live. Looking forward to my next trip between the two countries, already. For now, it’s time to enjoy the snow as long it is beautiful and fluffy.
